Questions about PicPicke
Short answers: how the veto works, who can see your photos, and how long they stay.
how it works
What is PicPicke?
PicPicke is a free website for sorting a batch of photos with the people in them. You drop in the photos and send one link. Everyone marks them on their own phone, and you get back the ones someone liked and nobody vetoed.
How do we decide which photos to keep?
Everyone goes through the photos alone and marks each one: keep this, no opinion, or not this one of me. One “not this one” keeps a photo out of the results, however many likes it had — so nobody gets stuck with a photo of themselves they don't like. You get back every photo that at least one person liked and nobody vetoed, with the most liked first.
Do my friends need an account or an app?
No. Nobody signs up and nobody installs anything. Your friends open the link on their phone, type the 6-digit join code you send them, and tap their name. It works on iPhone and Android.
What if someone doesn't finish?
Their marks so far are saved, so they can pick up where they left off. Anyone in the space can nudge them — one buzz each, then a one-minute wait. Results open when everyone is done, or when the person who made the space closes voting.
Is PicPicke free?
Yes. PicPicke is free to use.

Who can see our photos?
Anyone who has the link, so share it only with your group. The link is long and random, and spaces are hidden from search engines. To take a slot and mark photos, people also need the 6-digit join code, which you send on its own. Location data (GPS) is removed on your phone before upload, and there's no face recognition.
Can the others see how I marked?
No. While voting is open, nobody sees which way anyone marked, or how any photo is doing — only how far each person has got. The results show the kept photos and nothing else: vetoed photos never show up, and nobody sees who marked what. You can change any of your marks until voting closes.

How many photos and people can I add?
Up to 50 photos, and 2 to 8 people counting you. iPhone photos (HEIC) work too. Tip: groups get tired after about 30 photos, so take out the obvious misses before you share.
Can we download the photos we keep?
Yes. Everyone in the space can save the keepers, one by one or all at once. On an iPhone, choose Save Image when the share menu opens, and the photo goes to your Photos app. On Android, it downloads to your phone and shows up in your gallery. Each one is a high-quality copy, up to 2560 pixels on the long side, and it keeps the date it was taken.
How long do you keep our photos?
30 days from when the space is made. Then the space and every photo in it are deleted for good. Whoever made the space can add 30 more days, once, or delete it all sooner. The originals on your phone are never touched.
Can I have two spaces going at once?
No — one space at a time on each device. A slot in someone else's space counts too. Save what you want, then delete or leave the space, and the next one starts clean.
